The operating company SanGiorgio S.p.A. borns in 1954 in Genova following SanGiorgio liquidation, a subsidiary of Finmeccanica. The factory stands out from the beginning for the quality of its products and for the innovations made on various types of home appliances.

After the success of the early years, SanGiorgio acquires important market shares making the domestic laundry its core business.

Throughout the years SanGiorgio changes ownership several times even ending up abroad but finally in 2014 it comes back to Italy. In fact it wash, a totally italian factory, already established in the production of washing machines for many italian and european brands, acquires the SanGiorgio brand and with great national pride proposes to its customers high quality products and with high level performance.
