New 2021 Energy

From March 1st 2021 washing machines, washer dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators and wineries will are adopting the new energy labels.

This change is due to the technological development occurred in these years that highlighted the lack of efficiency of the old label as support of purchase decisions.

The most important news is the new efficiency standard, starting from class G to class A. The symbol "+" has been deleted, such as "A+++".

One more news is the QR code on each label which refers to a database managed by UE from 1/3/2021. It is possible to check and download on the technical data sheets of all the appliances for which the new energy label is going to be mandatory.

Washing machines

The main modification of the product energy class is the changing of the test program to which all datas of the label refer. The energy consumption will be based on 100 washing cycles. The new "eco 40-60" program is adapt to cotton, linen, mixed clothes with normal dirt, and washable, according to the treatment symbol, at 40 or 60 degrees. Adopting this washing cycle allows to wash these clothes all together. The "eco 40-60" program is the most efficient in terms of water and energy consumption.

Refrigerators and freezers

The new energy label reading will be faster and gives information about the total volume of the refrigerator and the freezer (where present).
